    how to lookup range of data in one cell

    Hi, I need some help on how to lookup some of my "range of data" in one cell..
    please have a look at my sample workbook..Book.xlsx

    But, why should I use "1" on the [range_lookup] part instead true or false..?
    will you explain it please..?

    You can use both:
    True = 1
    False = 0
    I always use 0 and 1 , but that is a personal preference

    With popipipo's example you could simply use

    =LOOKUP(E2,A2:B5)
