Count and subtract IF function TRUE values from a separate total

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to use an if function to return a count of a certain text value within a column and subtract that count from a total in a different cell. I have experimented with SUMIF, IF with COUNT, IF with SUM and have Googled to no avail. Any ideas? I have attached the document so you can look at it, I need the end result of the function to go into column p across from the models and I am looking to count specific values within column E, Model.

Your help is VERY much appreciated, thank you in advance!

amend the sample file with a expected result in column P and also provide some meaning ful info in column E to make it clear about your requirement...

I'm not 100% I get it, but something like this, right?

Pseudocode:
Live_Count = Total_Count - Countif(model_range, model_number)
