Count of sums >= 9 over a range

I'm looking to run a CountIf, but I want it to count if the sum of 2 cells are >= 9. The problem is that I want it to count this over multiple rows.

Example

B C
1 3
5 4
6 3
2 2
4 1
7 2

I need a CountIf formula, effectively, that would return "3" in the situation of adding those cell values for each row and comparing it to 9.
