How to get the total of multiple currencies used in one column

    A$ SING $ Euro NOK UK US$
    1.0700 1.2500 0.7418 6.1000 0.6208 1.0000
    A 934.58
    B 800.00
    C 1,348.07
    D 163.93
    E 1,610.82
    F 1,000.00
    G 1,869.16
    H 1,600.00
    I 2,696.14
    J 327.87
    K 3,221.65
    L 2,000.00

    TOTAL 17,572.23

Values in column "H" (US$) have been divided by currency rates in Raw C2~G2 as we need the total in US $
But we also want to know the total amount of each currency used in column "H".
Could you help me to put a formula to find the total value of each currency used.

    Hello and welcome.
To do that you need to put the currency sign next to the amounts in column G and then use
    =SUMIF($G$5:$G$16,J18,$H$5:$H$16)

    Hi Robert,

I think the problem is at the moment a bit more complicated.

Especially if the workbook is not in the "design stage", but Pubuduh is trying to dig out the info from the workbook received from third party.
I mean: If information about currency is only within the formula.

So taking seriously the example - one shall first restore the original amount and currency from the formula.
It could be done with a macro similar to this one:

And then of course sumif formula in J19 (and copy right):

Of course if I am wrong, and it is "design stage" data shall be collected manually in columns I and J and in H5 there shall be a formula:

    copied down.
    or may be better:

    Pozdrawiam,
