Hi
Cell A1 contains 2, B1=220077:23
In C1 I created a function = (2*1000)/B1, I get error. I want the answer 2000/220077h23m = 0.009087713
Please suggest the correct way.

One way would be to take 220077:23 and separate into 220073 in one cell (C1) and 23 into the next (D1) then divide the 23 by 60 to get its decimal equivalent. Then recombine and do your formula on that one. =2000/D1. That gave me the answer you want.
EDIT: I would separate them using text to columns.

Excel doesn't recognise input time values of 10,000 hours or more so it won't recognise 220077:23 as a time value - is that value coming from another calculation?
Audere est facere
I can use the vb function to do so.. But what if i format the cell as [H] so nomore minutes. So all I have is hours left. Still when I divide 2000/220077 (formated as [H]), I dont get the value I want.
Yes I could insert a column but still it wont look presentable.
aah, spent some time got the result. Had to use vba.
