Complex IF Formula

Trying to accomplish the following:

IF A5 is any number from 4.0 thru 12.0, AND IF B5 is Y AND C5 is Y, THEN IF A6 is any number from 4.0 thru 8.0 AND C6 is Y, then D6 = aa

However, with the same criteria for A5, B5 and C5, IF A6 is any number from 1.0 thru 3.5 AND C6 is Y, then D6 = bb
AND with the same criteria for A5, B5 and C5, IF A6 is any number from 1.0 thru 3.5 AND C6 is Z, then D6 = cc

All A column cells are numbers from -30.0 thru 30.0. All B and C column cells are either a "Y" or a "Z".

Thank you rcm. It works perfectly. However I now realize I left out one line that I have added below. It is the 2nd line.

thank you again for the formula update. This does now present the "dd" in D6 when A6 is any number from 4.0 thru 8.0 AND C6 is Y. What I have noticed is that when A6 has any number that is above 8.0 or below 1.0 then D6 gets a "FALSE". When A6 is any number from 1.0 thru 8.0 then D6 presents the correct result, either aa, dd, bb, or cc. The range of numbers in Column A will range from -30.0 up to 30.0.

What I am hoping you can do is have it present nothing in D6 when A6 is below 1.0 (0.5 thru -30.0) or above 8.0 (8.5 thru 30.0).
