You could use a Helper Column. B2:

    =WEEKDAY([@DATE])=5

    Filter B = True

It should be as simple as typing =WEEKDAY([@DATE])=5 into B2 and hitting enter.

    thursdays(1).xlsx

Re: how to formula the filter for day of the week

    thanks for ur response
but why we dont have a better B column?
i mean that i wanna see all day names of each date and When i tick in filter Thursday, only Thursday dates ll appear in A column
or When i tick Monday B coumn filter, i ll see only friday dates alone the A column.

as summary, i wanna tick different days of the week in B column and see them in A column.
