    multiple lookup criteria needs summing

I want a user to enter a list of codes in a table range, this will change due to the number of codes the user will need to use, and then a total line on a summary page will sum values in another sheet based on the codes entered.

I can only think of using sumif and then adding these together, but there are many codes used as criteria.

    Can anyone help

Re: multiple lookup criteria needs summing

Thanks for your help, but I don't want to keep referencing and adding the criteria. I want the sum cell to lookup the list of codes and sum values based on matching of these codes.

In the example you showed, I have to reference criteria A and B.

A user would have many codes that he wants to be used as criteria.
