getting long format number in normal xlsx sheet

Hello all

am totally confused , am getting longnumber in normal xlsx sheet.

am just open new word document and type number in cell A1=123456789012
for this am getting 1.23457E+11

am open the new workbook, there is no format for the cells.
why am getting long number.

hi,
you should change cell format to number with decimal places 0 in order to have 123456789012 and not 1.23457E+11.

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean. Word doesn't have cells. Are you saying that you're typing that number into a word table?

If you're referring to an Excel workbook only then check the formatting in the cell and change it from General to number.
