    Count number of projects that meet multiple criteria found in different spread sheets

    I have come up with 5 countif formulas that work perfectly separately but need them to be combines into one big criteria.

    =countif(PM[ProjectAge],">=200"
    =countif(PM[Customer Name],"*" & purch & "*"

    AND so on for each criteria. Help combining these would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi and welcome to the forum

    Between your 3 identical threads (the last 2 were closed because the forum does not permit duplicate threads), you have had at least 76+41+50 (167) views to this thread, and no replies.

    This tells me that members have no idea what you are looking for and do not understand what you want. I suggest that you try tpo expain better what you want. This does appear to be a homework assigment, and forum policy is to guide you based on what you think you need to do, not to do it for you.

    I think, if you can explain in better detail, what you need to do, you will probably find that this will aid you in understanding what you need to do, and from that, probably how you need to do it

    ^ +1.

    I had a quick look through this, but could only find 1 record with "purchase" and one with "Purch" in the name. Some further clarification wouldn't go amiss.

    I did a "find" on purchase too, and also found that 1 single match, but Victoria really needs to break this down into what needs to be done

    Re: Count number of projects that meet multiple criteria found in different spread sheets

    I've actually made some progress on this. Thanks for the insight so far and no worries this is not HW is a work project.
    The help I need now may be a lot simpler. I decided to break down what I needed and now I need to know how to put it all together.

    I need to count how many times all the following criteria is met collectively:
    1. greater than 200
    2. contains text string "purch"
    3. =MA
    4. =Active
    5. Blank

    I have come up with 5 countif formulas that work perfectly separately but need them to be combines into one big criteria.

    =countif(PM[ProjectAge],">=200"
    =countif(PM[Customer Name],"*" & purch & "*"

    AND so on for each criteria. Help combining these would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
