Inventory Problem

I’m trying to compare inventory part numbers in column A (in the system) and column B (physically counted).
If the numbers appear in A and B, I want them to appear in column C, meaning all is good.

If they appear in A, but not in B, I want them to appear in D, as “in the system, but not physically counted”

If they appear in B, but not in A, I want them to appear in E, as “physically seen, but not in the system”

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Are A and B in numerical order? So, if the part number is in A and B, would they be beside each other?

No Jenny, they are not in order. Thanks for the help. I think MarvinP has what will work. I am going to try it tomorrow at work.

If A and B are not in numerical order, try this. (I haven't been able to figure out column C, because I can't tell which part no. you want to appear there if there is a match between A and B, but not on the same line)
