Conditional formating to change font color for table on negative and positive results

    Hello,
I have a problem to conditional formating the font color in a table. For example if the result is <0 then change to red, otherwise no change.
The first number I did it was correct, it is OK. However all other rows are automaticly adding same formule referring to the same cell first added.
If I change the formule for the second number, the first number is automatcly change.

How can I control the font color for each row within the table, pending on if the number is negative or positive. Once I enter (1) formula
using conditional formating, the formules automaticly added to all other rows. That is not what I want. I can do it in non-table range.

    Please advise

    Thanks

No need of Conditional Formatting (CF) for this one, since it can be achieved with normal cell formatting.

Delete the current CF and select Result Column>>Do right click>>Format Cells>>Number>>Category>>Number>>Negative Numbers>>Select The Second one from that list>>Give Ok...

    Hi,
It is so simple. But I have another issue forget to mention. The last 3 rows of number in the result column have no value in
column 1 and 2. I want to hide those results. Do I use CF? Again when I add a CF, the other two's also auto-add same formula.

    Thanks

    Just change your formula approach...

    In D5 Cell

    =IF([@Number1]-[@Number2]=0,"",[@Number1]-[@Number2]+D4)

    Drag it down...

Wow, it works again. I know about this formule but never use in a table.
I foregot about this. Currently it solves my problem.

I like to see how it is done in CF? Is that possible to control each row in CF
or have to be the same formula?

What happen if I have to change the font style to bold type or change the
backgroundfill color for each row for negative numbers, do I use CF? How
to prevent duplicate formulas automaticly applied to other table rows?

P.S.: I just found another issue, when I insert a table row, the formula change
back to the orginal formula. Please advise again, how can I retain the new formula
every time when I insert the row(s).
I try to avoid manually copy the new
formula to override the old one. Is there a master formula setting for the table?

    Thanks Again!
