Hello, I have a lot of cells containing numbers. Some numbers are small, some are big.
I want to divide all numbers which are greater than 300 by 1000.
IF cell A2 > 300 THEN divide by 1000.
How to do that? Is it possible to convert value in the same cell like using conditional formatting principle?

You can not do this in the same cell using formula but you can do this in another column-cell.

Hi without using a macro the following would work
First filter you number column for those greater than 300. Now enter the value 1000 in a spare cell and copy that cell.
Now select your numbers column and use F5 Goto Special and select visible cells only.
Now with the Paste Special select the 'Divide by'
