cell shows values instead of formula after saving file

how do i get cells to show formula instead of values when opening a previously saved file.

As far as I know, the only way to show firmulas instead of values is to use Ctrl + ` otherwise known as the grave accent on the key to the left of the number 1 key. There might be a way to call this in a Workbook Open Event if you want the same file to always show the formulas when it opens.

the problem is that when I click on the cell, it doesn't show the original formula. If I insert a value within cells that the formula is supposed to compute, the new cell is not computed into the resulting value.
