# weekly date range

1. ## weekly date range

Hi All,

So i need to track something for the week on a monthly tracker... is there anything i can use in excel to identify the current networkday daterange..

E.g so this week would be 17/03/14-21/03/14 and is the same formula so next week it will change the date range to 24/03/14-28/03/14 etc?

2. ## Re: weekly date range

This will always identify the most recent Monday.

=(TODAY()-(WEEKDAY(TODAY(),2))+1)

You can then have a second cell with that +4 to show the Friday.

That's the closest I can think of. If you return both the Monday to Friday reference in one cell (using =(TODAY()-(WEEKDAY(TODAY(),2))+1)&" - "&(TODAY()-(WEEKDAY(TODAY(),2))+5) it returns an Excel date reference (ie 41715 - 41719)

you are an absolute legend... words cannot describe how greatful i am! haha cheers!!

4. ## Re: weekly date range

Should update every day, as the TODAY() and weekday() formulas depend on today's date
