Index match with large function

Hi there,

I'm looking to rank a bunch of data (largest to smallest) that is subject to a condition;

These are shareholdings but can't be investments held by a particular type of investor: The types of investor are retail, custody, trading position etc...

I have tried using this formula but it doesnt seem to work in all cases but works some of the time.

Can anyone help me to understand why or even help to rectify the formula?

=IF((INDEX($G$8:$G$241,MATCH(LARGE(!$N$8:$N$241,$L10),!$N$8:$N$241,0))={"Trading Position","Retail","Retail Broker","Custody"}),"–",LARGE(!$N$8:$N$241,L10))

It would be easier for us if you could post some sample data or a SMALL sample file that shows us what results you expect.

If you post a file about 20 rows worth of data will be plenty. Just make sure you include what results you expect!

Sorry had to change the data but here is an example of what I'm trying to do.

Currently it just pulls the first criteria but not the others.
