Formula returns #VALUE due to blank cells

I have a formula to calculate quantities in my sheet. However, the cells I refer to in the formula are also formulas. These will not always be populated with a number but need to be included in the calculations. Is there anyway I can do this so I don't get #VALUE as the return?

    Thanks

    Katie
