i have a coloumn "ID" which contains ID . in the next coloumn i want to get the name of the folder which contains a word file with same name as ID.
can any one help me with this(excel formula or Macro) any thing will be ok.

So for example, you have the ID 1234ABC
You want Excel to search your computer for a Word file called 1234ABC.DOC(x)
and return the folder that that file is in?

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires
