Formatting Issue While Exporting to Text File

I am trying to export excel spreadsheet data into a textfile by using the save as file method and saving it in every txt file option available but my columns don't come out matching all my rows.

As you can see from this picture starting from the 2nd vertical (m) column all of my rows are shifted to the left a bit and some of my rows are out of place. I have no idea how to fix this.

Any help would be appreciated. If anyone would like to see the excel file I'll be happy to upload it. Thank you

Have you tried formatting the third column with 6 decimal places, so they are all the same?

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Fanylion,
To achieve the result you have to keep the character length equal for each cell in a column.
Use the below formula in a helper column and then replace the actual values with the results.

    Formula: copy to clipboard

Note: this is an array formula and has to entered with "ctrl+shift+enter"

Thanks, I manage to get my rows not mismatched using a slightly altered version of your formula but I still have the problem that my column headers aren't matching up with my data. Any solution to that? Thanks

Re: Formatting Issue While Exporting to Text File

If the document was going to opened in Word, the best solution is to use TEXT TAB DELIMITED.txt as the file format as Word will allow you to set the tabs to make the document appear as you want with everything aligned.

The problem with the titles can be fixed by changing the cell length to a greater value. the formula supplied to you by Bhuvi should work if applied to the column headers as well as the data.
