    Matching partial data help

    Hi all,

I'm wondering if there is a way I can partially match the example data provided below through a formula? I have racked my brain and been unable to come up with anything!

    DBAP-152-34B DBAP-152-WHT-152-34B
    DBAP-152-34C DBAP-152-WHT-152-36B
    DBAP-152-34D DBAP-152-WHT-152-38B
    DBAP-152-34DD DBAP-152-WHT-152-40B
    DBAP-152-34E DBAP-152-WHT-152-42B

    Cheers all,

    Re: Matching partial data help

this is a bit lacking on information but I can suggest the FIND() to help you....I'm not sure which part of the string you are trying to find....but, again, the FIND() could/should help

Please consider adding a * if I helped

Nothing drives me crazy - I'm always close enough to walk....
