I've tried every relevant fix for this that I've found here and none are quite what I'm looking for.
I need to sequentially number a purchase order form that is printed in batches. For example, print 50 copies, number 1 - 50; next time, print 50 copies - start with the next sequential number (i.e. 51). This "Purchase Order Number" needs to reside in H2 on my form.

What is in Cell H2? Do you have mixed text and number? Let's say that your purchase order starts with
"PO#-" followed by a five digit number Change the PO#- in the code to whatever is not numeric, and the length of the "00000" to match the number of digits in your PO number.

yr my hero!! Cleaned out H2, because I realized there was some text in that cell.
Wish i'da posted this way early this morning instead of searching and debugging all day!
But its been kind of an interesting deviation from the norm for this girl!
