Time Sheet and making date update automatically

    Copy of Baxter, Tommy_2014.xlsx

We have about 30 employees that use these sheets to report their time. They are each saved, as each employees name , in a folder on our network. A constant problem is the dates have to be updated. (Each employee file has a tab for each month)

Is there a good way to get the date to update automatically? Or an easier way to update them than copying and pasting several months of sheets for each employee?

    I appreciate it!

if you literally want to current date/time shown in a cell that will update automatically.

e.g. if I did this now it would say 10:47 or 16/4/14 10:47 depending on what I chose and if I saved and opened tomorrow it will update itself.

=NOW() in a cell then format the cell how you like
