Hello. When I copy something it doesn't show up in the clipboard. It says "preview not available" and I can't copy anything in there. What's wrong?

Is this using the keyboard 'copy' keystrokes,
or
a mouse right-click copy
or
a vba clipboard.copy command ?

That link doesn't have instructions for my version of excel. It says go to file and then properties but that doesn't exist.
I don't have 2007 open, but I believe that you can find the properties by clicking on the Office Button in the upper left hand corner of Excel. If not readily available, then click on the options at the bottom of the screen after clicking on the Office Button. Most of Excel works the same in all versions, you just need to look around for where things are located as they move them when they change the UI.
I have excel 2010, I think.
Your profile indicated 2007 so that is what I referenced. In 2010, click on file and do the same as instructed above.
When I go to options there is no option for "properties".
I just checked out the Options and Properties on my 2010 machine. Nothing there that will help you. You may have to de-install and re-install Excel. I've done a few google searches and come up empty. You may wish to extend that search.
