Remove row from table when matching another table

I have a couple of basic tables on the same spreadsheet that have columns for both the first and last names in each table (there are other columns, but not pertinent to whether the row show be deleted or not). Table 1 lists everyone that is expected to register, while Table 2 is a routinely updated listing of those that have actually registered.

Is there a formula or code that will automatically look at these tables and if the same person is present in both lists, it will delete the entire row of data from Table 1 where their name exists?

The idea is to have separate lists so that we can see who has registered, but also see who has not yet registered so we can follow up. Right now, we're just sorting the lists by last name and manually deleting from Table 1.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

This can be done in an alternative way using VLOOKUPs instead of delete method you have mentioned here. Please post a sample template of your workbook here.
