CSV help: complicated product information

I'm trying to use CSV to import my products to my ecommerce website.

It's going fine, but my product information includes tables. How can I build the spreadsheet so that my product information column includes these tables? I know that you can't put tables inside of cells, but I don't know what the solution is.

Thanks.

In the attached file, sheet 2 is an example of the information that I want to include in the 'description' column in the CSV table on the first tab.

you haven't described your problem well enough

we have no idea what you are trying to achieve

try creating a new file, one sheet to have your raw data, then another sheet how you expect results to be displayed (even if you have to enter them manually)

That should be enough information for somebody who works with CSV...

Like I said, I want the data in sheet 2 to be the output value AFTER the upload (e.g. it would appear as the product description on a site like ebay).

In sheet 1, the cells under the column 'description' must include HTML that displays tables like the one in sheet 2.

i suggest paying someone $30 on http://www.freelancer.com/
rather than getting help from here, we are here to help users with functions/formula/code, but I think you need a quick solution to your ecommerce problem, in which case you'd get a better solution from using freelancer

Okay, well thanks for your help anyway. Sorry if I came off rude in that last message! It's just frustrating trying to get these things to work

Re: CSV help: complicated product information

We've seen many examples of people trying to complete projects by getting volunteers on here to do all the work on their behalf, it's sometimes hard to distinguish between those that are taking advantage and those that are genuinely seeking help.

Sorry if I sounded blunt in my response, but it sounded like you wanted help in such a project, rather than help with a formula or a piece of code.

The reason you have not had any responses to your thread is because it is not a simple request for help with a formula or piece of code

I wasn't being rude earlier when I referred you to that other website, I've used it on many occasions for getting work done, and I've also completed work for others. From my experience of using that site (I've earned £100's and awarded others £100's for work they've done for me), i think you can get what you want for less than $30

You could probably get the help you want from our site, in the Commercial Services Forum
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
