    Calc cell based on contents of another cell

    Formula Excel.jpg

    What I am trying to do is an IF OR scenario, where IF cell G5 has 33% then Cell H5 will show the results for 33% of F5 which is the total value.

    Anyone business minded will know im trying to work out a weighted forcast, where my sales team need not worry about mathatics but simply enter their data and voila the results will always be correct and clear for me to access.

    Re: Tricky Forumla!

    Could you send an excel sample so it can be fitted with the formula?

    Maybe this?
    H5=G5*F5

    Re: Calc cell based on contents of another cell

    You would only use the SUM() function if you are going to add a range of cells together, otherwise just reference the cells directly
