how to auto separate the date and other entries in excel 2007 while entering in the cell

    hi,
If i format a cell and to date and just enter according to the format , excel accepts and shows that as date.
Is there any auto decimate function, that whenever i entered a date, it should auto insert the - or / in the respective position, instead of manually entering these separators.
For eg. If i enter dd/mm/yyyy format and then select some cells, and if i enter 25042014, it should automatically enter as 25/04/2014 .Like wise time 1514 should be 15:14 if i choose the time format.please
