OK I have a worksheet that is copying cells from another worksheet and totals them using 4 total rows at 41,42,43 &44
So I have a lot of data about 7000 lines and this configuration above will repeat itself every 44 lines
I'm using a formula starting at a2 the formula is "=mainlogbook!A2" --- simple enough!
NOW! I need to copy this formula through A-AB up to 7000, skipping 4 rows starting at 41,42,43,44 then skipping 84,85,86,87 ..... and so on
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SO Ive tried hiding the rows
then copying one cell
Then selecting visible cells only
Then pasting the formula
The Cell at A40 reads "=mainlogbook!A40"
A41-A444 does not have formulas since it was hidden and this is what I want
BUT on A45 the formula is =mainlogbook!A45 ***Broken Series of Data not suitable for me****
IT WORKS! Kinda: Problem is the formula that carries over the hidden rows skips 4 numbers forward
Example
Formula at A45 is =mainlogbook!A45 (this not correct for me; I need it to read =mainlogbook!A41 which is the continuation of the series of data that its pulling from.
Does anyone know a solution to this , I would be forever grateful
Thanks
