Keep section headings static

Hello all,

I am completely new to this, so apologies if I have queried this in the wrong place or have ignored some important piece of custom or convention.

Anyway, I have a large spreadsheet that shows the different taxonomy of a range of data. So, for example (and this isn't my actual data), if you had a spreadsheet of types of transport and wanted to find "blue Honda civic", you might have a taxonomy that was something like "motorized vehicle/motor car/Japanese car/Honda/civic/blue". What I would like to be able to do is keep each of the levels static until the next level is reached; i.e., as you'd scroll down, all the colours of civic would move but everything else would stay still, then when you'd gone through all of them, the type of Honda (i.e., civic) would move to the next type of Honda (e.g., prelude) and you'd move through the colours again. As you move through the colours the types of Honda, the manufacturer would stay static until you'd exhausted the types of Honda and so on. The effect would be that the top line would always show the full taxonomy (motorized vehicle/motor car/etc./etc.)

Is this even possible? It's been bugging me all day because I'm checking the taxonomy of things and keep having to scroll all the way up and down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just to put my mind to rest that it is in fact not possible.
