Shift + Control + Arrow Key

    Hello,

I am struggling with the shift, control and arrow keys.

I want to record a macro and select only the visible months in a row. The row contains months which appear when the 'Actuals" row is greater than 0.

I need my graph to only select the months that are visible, so when recording the macro i control, shift and arrow key right to select only the visible data. However, it goes straight to row P as it can detect there is a formula within the cell.

I have attempted to copy and past the row but it still does the same. It only works if i delete the empty cells, but how would i put this into my macro as the visible cells change each month so the macro would have to be changed all the time.

    An example is attached

    Thank you

    My friend..
I think you have problem with the date range of the graph..
you want to change it as the months appears or disappears..
    isn't it..?

if that is the case I can provide you a program ( macro ) to make dynamic range ...

Attached is an example graph of what i want the data to produce. Te graph contains Jan to May as these are the only columns with figures in the actuals.

If you could provide me with a macro with a dynamic range, that would be great.

    thank You

now its up to you ... that how you apply it...
    check the attachment...
Press Ctrl + g to run the macro..
and remember select your range from D7 "the first empty cell of the table"

    This works great!

However, i need to create 4 different graphs on the sheet. Is there any chance of relating the ctrl + G to one graph, and then another key to a different graph?

Re: Shift + Control + Arrow Key

I think there is no need to assign different keys...
I am adding an input box which will ask you the no. of chart to update..say chart 1, 2, 3 ,4..

Will it be purposefull or not..?
    just tell me..

It would be great if the macro was linked to a button if this helps you?

    that could work yes

Or if it is easier, apply a button for each table which will update the graph it relates to?

Re: Shift + Control + Arrow Key

Yes i have viewed the previous attachment

The 4 graphs are to be titled the following North America, Asia, Global and Nordics.

The graphs aren't actually for me, but for other colleagues that aren't all very wise on Excel.

Is there any chance of having a list of the table names in a list when choosing the graph instead of using the number?

    Many Thanks
