    Excel opening all files in the same window

    I have a colleague who is working on windows 7 with office 2010 and whenever he tries to open multiple excel files they all open in the same window and he is not able to drag them around to show them on separate monitors.

    Anyone know how to overcome this?

    My excel doesn't behave the same way and I'm on a different office version so comparing my settings to his is like comparing apples to oranges.
