Create a message pop up box on close using VBA

Hi I was wondering if someone can help, I have created a Dashboard in excel 2007 when opened by an individual it takes about 45 seconds to open as it refreshes and brings in a lot of data from external databses. I need to provide a pop up message "Do you want to exit the Dahboard" and provide an option Yes or No when they close down the Dashboard ( by pressing X in top right). If some one can advise me how to do this using VBA or any other source it would be much appreciated.

    Thankyou

    Hi,

I just want to inform this is, if your process of retrieving data has been initiated, you cannot interrupt the code in between.

    Hi Paresh

This is once the data has been received. It is a precautionary measure so the user is aware they are closing down the spreadsheet.

    Zuneid,

I am looking to add something similar to a shared workbook; However, I don't think macros can be enabled in shared workbooks. How did you set yours up? Did you just insert a macro or was there also a control associated with it?

    Thank you,
    Rachael
