Hi All
Need all possible formula to convert text numbers to numerical numbers, the data is imported from a system to excel.as per annexed
There is an empty row between each data that also be deleted inclusive in the formula. Tried =(value cell) but no sucess , tried paste special multiply by one still no sucess.
Can anyone help me please thanks

I have tried this as per annexed file but it did not work. Is there another solution

I have checked the attachment JEAN1972 had used the function value(), i think it is not working kindly check the function in his workbook attached in post 1
@ JEAN1972 Try "Replace" Ctrl+h ,Type " ' " in Find What , leave the empty Replace with tab , After that change the the cell format to Accounting or Number.

You also have commas in the data, so remove them and THEN use value as indicated below:

Or you could find and replace on the Comma, but that gets annoying IF you have to constantly update this and remove commas.
What my formula does is FIRST replace all commas with nothing, then convert to a value.
JEAN1972, Good afternoon.
Try to do this:
a) Select the desirable column
b) CTRL + U (Find/Replace)
c) Type , (comma) - Find What
d) "Replace with:" tab = Empty
e) Press "Replace All" button
f) Format the desirable column to Numbers --> 2 decimal
OK
