    Change text colour according to list box selection

    Hi

    i need the text in the cells to change colour according to a selection from a list box.

    Please see the attached file.

    May be this.....

    Select the range A7:AM7 and make a new rule for conditional formatting using the formulas given below and set the format as per your choice......

    For Green

    did you get the example to work? I want the text to change colour in the rows.

    Actually your named range refers to a different workbook so I was unable to see the values "Completed pass" or "Failed to Start" in the drop down list.
    But the formula I suggested will work if the drop down actually contain these values exactly (without any extra spaces).
    When applying conditional formatting, in the format window click on Font and change the text color to the red or green according to the formula being used.
    See the attached sheet for details, where I have created a drop down list in F7. Change the value in F7 to see if the color is changed correctly.
