my spreadsheet is defaulting to one row per page when printing

I am not an Excel expert, but have used spreadsheets for many years. This is a new problem to me and I can't seem to find a workaround.
I have a simple spreadsheet, just data, no formulas entered at all. I froze the top few lines to remain visible when scrolling. It's 27 columns wide x about 190 rows.

How can I get it into a standard print format?

What does it look like in page break preview?

I would be happy to forward it to you, there is not proprietary information on the sheet, it is a list of names for a geneaological search I am doing, all public record on people deceased in the 1800's.

In the page break preview I see the problem picture, the dotted lines are all over the place. I don't know how to reset the sheet to "standard print format or layout".

See PM sent to you with my email address....

Alternatively, in page break preview, select any cell in range; right click & select "reset all page breaks".
