Comment Picture with List Data Validation

Hello,

My goal is to have a picture pop up (preferably for a set amount of time), when a user selects a certain option from a data validation drop down list.

I have seen that you can add a picture to a comment, bu I can't combine comments with data validation lists.

Is there any way to get a comment to be part of a data validation list? Or any other way to solve my problem?

Thank you so much - that's fantastic. Is there any simple way to make the picture only appear for a few seconds?
