    Extracting most frequent number(s)?

    Hello,

I can't figure out how to deal with this situation in excel, so I am going to attach .xls file here: frequency.xlsx

Problem is that I need to exclude number 5 from this. Number 5 will always appear in the first table (in A1:B10), but when I'm
filling the second table where I must fill most frequent number/s, second most frequent number/s and third most frequent number/s
there must not be number 5 in there (no matter is it most frequent or not)?

Is this possible with functions or maybe I should try with macro?

    Hi.

Can you just clarify why your table has more than one column for each of the categories The most frequent number(s), Second frequent number(s) and Third frequent number(s)?

Is that so that in cases where more than one value occurs most frequently, etc. then they are to be placed next to each other?

What are your expected results based on the data you give?

    Regards

Yes, this is for the numbers that have the same frequency, and they are going to be placed next ot each other.
