    Approval Ranges

    Hi.

I would like some help please with approval limits

On the sheet “Invoice Approval” I would like a formula in the red cell which looks at Cell C6 and then returns what level of approval is required from the “Approval Limits” tab.

What is the easiest way to do this?

    I have attached an example.

    Re: Approval Ranges

My suggestion would be to change your limits table to something a bit easier to use and then go with index/match. I've attached an example (note, the minimum limits in column D are for information only, not used in the calculation.

@Fotis, I think it needs a -1 match type so you need to have the list going from level 1 to level 4 with a big number for level 1.
