Sort issue

Hello all,

I'm trying to sort a list which is a little special. I'll make a quick example:

[0]
RecordA
RecordB
[1]
RecordA
RecordB
[2]
RecordA
RecordB

What I'd like to do is to sort the list by the RecordA field. Each "block" is 58 lines long, every time the same.
I can manually select each block, transpose it on a blank sheet, sort it and then transpose it again, but it's time consuming.

I'd like to make a macro which simply selects the first 58 lines, transpose them, then selects the next 58 lines, transpose them and so on. Then sort the list and transpose the list the other way round.

Can anybody help me on this?

It's a very small example, as said the sections on my file are 58 lines long.

My idea is to transpose the column, sort the lines by Surname and transpose them again.
The "sectionx" can be just left unsorted (it is already sorted in the original file).

Does that make any sense?
