    Excel Condition Query

    I have a query that. in my excel file there are many centes are given and I want to sort this my Location
    for ex. if there are Manchester or Leeds or Redhil or London or Ipswich or Horsham then It should be Shown as Manchester.

    If its Glasglow & Edinburgh then it should be shown as Glasglow.

    and If its Birmingham or Leicester or Bristol or Cardiff then it should be shown as Birmingham.

    So please suggest which formula I can use for this I have attached a file for example in Gray field required formula.

    Re: Excel Condition Query

    Create ONE table consisting of two columns, first column centre, second column the "answer" as youve put it.
    The just use VLOOKUP()

    Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
