Text and numbers in one cell to reference in another cell on a separate sheet

Im having trouble getting a drop downlist with a variation of texts and numbers in the cell to reference to a separate cell in a separate work sheet. Example cell A1 contains the sequence B538 on sheet one and Id like for that to show up on sheet 2 in cell A1.

Under "metal grade" the textand number B8 is listed, in the second sheet on the right side of "Metal Grade" id like for that same text/number to appear whenever it is selected on the drop down list in sheet one
