    Dividing a cell into two cells

    Is it possible to divide a set of cells for example A5:A9 into two cells...

    A5:A9 is already "divided" into five cells. It makes no sense to "divide" it by two.

    I mean columnwise i want to divide... Because above A5 I have some data which I don't want to touch.

    It would only make sense to merge the cells A1:A4 with B1:B4 (respectively) in order to have two columns displayed below.

    Merge property i know, but I wanted to create a table with two columns in these cells...
