    Summarising Data

    Hi,

In columns A:E in the attached file I have sample raw data that I need to re-arrange as shown in columns H:J.

Because the data in A:E can change a lot from month to month (e.g. products in new countries and cities) managing the table in H;J entails a lot of manual work, adding or removing products, countries and cities.

Can someone please suggest a better way of managing the table in H:J than manually adding and removing products each month? I thought that a solution would be to use a Pivot Table but I’m not sure if it can handle the summary calculations for countries and cities as shown in column J (e.g. cell J4).

Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Thanks

    Thanks for the quick response!

Unfortunately the pivot table you suggested adds the growth(%) for each product for each country and city; these values are not simply to be added - see, for example, the formula in cell J3.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Does the attached help. The Pivot Table is not quite in the same layout but it does show all the same numbers.
