Cant add data labels between two points on a scatter graph

Hi everyone,

Basically, i have created a scatter graph which single points and plots that are connected via two points. All i want to do is add data labels to the middle of these lines, and not on the two points in which the line is connected.

Use another series where the data point is the position where you want the label to appear.

Thanks for your help, but then the label is not attached to the line so if the data changes the label will not move.

It would be if the new data point is based on information from the existing data point.

It's impossible to tell how you have your chart currently set up from a picture.
