Can't paste into cell

When I try to paste in a certain cell it is giving me an error and saying it is due to the cell being protected. However, under protection, the cell shows as not being locked. Can anyone tell me what the issue could be here? I am using 2007 on XP. Thanks

Check data validation for the cell.

Thanks for your suggestion. I checked it and it is set to allow any value.
