Copying Excel Embed Images in Excel itself

Hello All,

I understand that the subject of my thread is a bit vague.

Actually I have one excel file from a previous colleague who left the Company. In the attached sheet, I don't know how he copied the excel cell in the another worksheet as an image file with linked cells.

I guess it will be clear once the file is downloaded.

In Direct Margin Dashboard, there is an image file for month-wise data which is coming from Overhead cost worksheet. Now even though it is an image file, it is linked with those cells in Overhead cost sheet.

Can anyone explain how he did that please? Thanks

It is confusing as to what worksheets you are referring to as there is an Overhead Costs Dashboard and an Overhead Costs worksheet that doesn't have graphs or graphics.

When you refer to a "how he copied the excel cell in the another worksheet as an image file with linked cells" I don't know what cells you are talking about.

If you are talking about copying a chart and have it linked:
I copied and pasted the column chart with the Employee line on the column chart on Overhead Costs Dashboard and it updated as the original updated. I also tried the camera tool to put a picture of the chart on the Direct Margin Dashboard and it also updated with changes of data.

If you are just talking about creating charts from data:
Creating the costs from the Overhead Costs worksheet is just a matter of selecting the data and creating the chart where you want.

If you are referring to the chart in the upper right of the Direct Margin Dashboard, that was most likely done with the Camera Tool.
