Ranks in My Marksheet

Suppose i have a subjects marksheet in excel


name eng maths sci total Rank
a 52 54 106 2
b 72 50 122 1

Now if student "a" gets 99 marks whereas student "b" gets only 45 marks total marks of "a" will be more than that of "b" so his name must be displayed as ranker and in the first row

how can that be done automatically using any of excel formula

I have attached a sheet with a possible solution.

if you have yourself a Data sheet this basically comprises of the results shown above

Then you have a Results sheet you can use the index match function to show the results in the correct order.

but now if marks are changed first ranker must always be displayed in first row

second vice versa and third also same way so on...

plz how to do it

This is what the sheet does if you write the results in the Data sheet then in the Results Tab it will display the highest ranked 1st and so on
