I need some Roster help.
BACKGROUND:
I have an Excel Roster of names (in rows) and Days of The Week (in columns). There are lots of names and also lots of different shifts. Each day we produce a Summary Page of who is working where at what time.
Example:
Mary is rostered Monday 8am start Building 1, Tuesday 8am start Building 3, Wednesday OFF, Thursday 10am start Building 1
John is rostered Monday 10am start Building 2, Tuesday OFF, Wednesday 8am start Building 3, Thursday 10am start Building 2
...except we have 75 names and 5 different buildings over 7 days for every month ! x365 days a year !!!
At the moment we hand write (what is it; the 80's ??) every day the name, time and building but I would like to be able to automate and produce a Daily Summary Page of: Name, Start Time, Place
Any help would be of great assistance....
