Rank - Maintain Series if duplicate rank found

I am having some trouble with the rank function and would really appreciate if someone could help me out.

If you have a look at the attached file I am trying to get the rank for Column D and want to show the ranking in column E. which i have done. However when I do that the ranks appear but the issue is that its missing the sequence when there are duplicate ranks.

Column F shows the ideal output that I would like.

Hi,

if Index data are in descending order a highly questionable approach could be

=sumproduct(1/Countif($D$4:D4,$D$4:D4))
