I have created a dropdown to limit data entry into a cell.
The cell allows things to be hand entered from the beginning of the list (ie 42.1), but if you try and hand enter things from the end of the list (44.1) you get the user restricted values popup. You can use the drop down to select the same exact values. Any thoughts/ideas?
I'd "guess" that your source list has some hidden spaces in the text that isn't obvious.

Welcome to the forum.
Based on what? No workbook, no data, no drop down list. Only you know what you're looking at.Any thoughts/ideas?

Figured it out, when i did a drag to continue the list, the value changed from 44.1 to 44.1000000000001
